From September 16 to 20, 2024, a short-term training course “Legal Aspects of Sustainable Development” was held at Naresuan University (Phitsanulok, Thailand) as part of the MASUDEM project (Master Studies in Sustainable Development and Management) funded by the European Union.
The course trainer is Yuliia Prus, Associate Professor of Management Department at Mendel University in Brno. During the five days of training, the participants learned about the peculiarities of circulation of the model of sustainable development, 3-D sustainability and its contribution to governance assessment in legal terms, environmental justice, climate justice and green economy, economic instruments of greening, sustainability indicators and indices, total environmental quality management, transformative business models for sustainability transitions, etc. While working in groups, the participants worked on identifying problems and perspectives of 3-D Sustainability, developing business models for their own sustainable development projects.
