FBE MENDELU will host top academics and students from Ukraine as part of the TAK-project

13. 10. 2023
The Faculty of Business and Economics is hosting 15 prominent academics and 30 successful students in the next two weeks as part of the Transnational Academic Knowledge-Sharing (TAK) project.

The TAK-project embodies Mendel University’s commitment to global cooperation and goodwill and carries a noble mission: to actively contribute to the development of Ukrainian education.

Furthermore, the TAK initiative is not a mere collaboration. It is a beacon of support for academics and students coming from Ukrainian universities with the potential to promote excellence in education, facilitate cross-border cooperation and strengthen ties between Mendel University and our Ukrainian colleagues.

TAK-project

The goal of the TAK-project is to empower students, nurture effective leaders, retain talented faculty in Ukrainian institutions, and improve the overall quality of higher education through the implementation of robust university management practices.

The project is implemented by the Department of Law and Social Sciences under the leadership of doc. PhDr. Martiny Rašticové, Ph.D. with financial support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Czechia.

October in the name of the TAK

As part of this visionary project, 30 selected students from six Ukrainian universities will participate in a full-time hybrid academic mobility program “Digital Leadership and Strategy“. The programme will take place from 21 to 28 October 2023 at Mendel University in Brno.

At the same time, we are honored to host 15 successful Ukrainian academics who will be actively involved in full-time teaching from 14 to 21 October 2023. The hybrid internship program entitled “How to communicate effectively in research and teaching at the international level” is a unique opportunity for them to refine their skills in international communication.
