The scientific conferences are regularly organized in order to present and disseminate research results. The conference is a meeting place for the scientific community and also for experts from the private and public spheres. Amongst conferences with a long tradition belongs the Enterprise and Competitive Environment conference and Conference of doctoral students PEFnet. The first year of ECE took place in 1997. Since 2020, ECE has been held under the new name Economic Competitiveness and Sustainability (ECOS). The PEFnet conference is aimed at young researchers (doctoral students from the Czech Republic and abroad). A number of other conferences are organized under the auspices of institutes responding to various current topics.

The conference at FBE MENDELU provides doctoral students from the Czech Republic and abroad with the opportunity to present their work and communicate with other students and researchers. The conference’s goal is to bring young researchers and doctoral students to share experiences and original scientific contributions on topics related to economic studies.
International Conference ECONOMIC COMPETITIVENESS AND SUSTAINABILITY
The ECOS professional conference crosses the boundaries of traditional disciplines and includes a wide range of interactions from traditional academic disciplines or schools to the reality of business. Many of the issues discussed bring innovative ideas and combine the best academic thinking with developing expertise in financial services, public sector/government, and information and communication technology.
