For studies in study programmes accredited in a foreign language, the student pays a fee at the Faculty of Business and Economics, the amount of 80 000 CZK per academic year is set by university-wide regulation Rector’s Order 13/2020. The specific amounts for doctoral studies are listed in Annex 1 of this regulation. The regulation is published on the Official Board of Mendel University in Brno in the section Internal Regulations.

How much is the tuition fee?

In the first year of study, the students pay a fee for the whole academic year, afterwards, it is allowed to pay by semester (half of one year payment). The amount is written in your study contract, or, you can find it in UIS : My College → Student’s Portal → Study financing. Moreover, you can see there the deadline for the payment.

Since the academic semester 2024/2025 the tuition fee for PhD studies is 0 CZK.

How do I pay?

You have three options:

  1. Through the university information system UIS (we prefer this)
    • You will find it in the Student’s Portal → Study Financing. You will pay using your bank card.
  2. Transfer the money from your account to the university account. After you make the payment, please send the details of the transaction to lucie.kamenicka@mendelu.cz.
