FBE MENDELU has following agreements about gaining Double degree , that allow the students to study at the partner university for one year and to gain both diplomas from MENDELU and partner institution by reciprocal recognition of the study results.

  • students do not have to pay school fee
  • students pay for the other costs related to the studies abroad
  • it is recommended to gain Erasmus+ grant
  • application process in January (within the 1st round of Erasmus+ applications)

Selected students are officially nominated to Foreign University. Students have to submit Learning agreement and Transcript of records till the deadline settled by Foreign University (till the end of June at the latest).. Students register for courses offered by the Foreign University. While the course offerings at the Foreign University may not perfectly align with those outlined in the study plan at FBE, students are encouraged to ensure they meet the requirements of their FBE study plan. The recognition of courses is supposed to be consulted in advance with the vice-dean for education. 

Deggendorf University of Applied Sciences, Germany

For students in the last year of Master’s studies. 

Study programme Economics and Management. 

Max. 5 students / academic year. 

Part of the studies is realized at the Foreign University (1-2 of the following semesters). 

Studies are held in English. 

Student receives diploma from both Universities.

  1. Advanced knowledge of German and English language  
  2. To obtain at least 210 ECTS credits during previous University studies (including Bachelor studies)  
  3. To fulfil successfully at least 80% of ECTS credits from the 1st and the 2nd semester of Master studies. 
  1. To complete at least 1 semester at a Foreign University (30 ECTS). 
  2. Students must complete the MENDELU study plan. 
  3. To elaborate Diploma Thesis in English, defend Diploma Thesis in Deggendorf University and to submit the confirmation about successful defending for recognition at FBE MENDELU.  
  4. Pass the State Final Exam at FBE MENDELU. 
  5. It is possible to recognize the defense of Diploma Thesis at Foreign University (The Thesis must meet the requirements of FBE MENDELU for processing Diploma thesis)

The recognition of courses and credits completed at a Foreign University is possible (30 ECTS/semester, 60 ECTS /whole academic year). It is not possible to study the same courses already passed at FBE MENDELU.  

Seinajoki University of Applied Sciences, Finland

Study stay abroad in the 3rd year of the bachelor’s degree – winter and summer semester. 

Courses at the University correspond the best to the Economics and Management program or the Trade and Service Management program (specialization Management of business activities). 

The study takes place in the English language. 

 The student will receive diplomas from both universities. 

  1. Advanced knowledge of the English language. 
  2. Students must obtain a minimum of 120 ECTS credits during the bachelor’s degree. 
  3. Students have to complete successfully at least 80% of ECTS credits in the 1st and 2nd year of the bachelor’s degree. 
  4. Students must complete the MENDELU study plan. 
  5. Students have to elaborate the diploma thesis in English and defend this diploma thesis in the Seinajoki University and at FBE MENDELU. 
  6. The Thesis must meet the requirements of FBE MENDELU for processing Diploma thesis. 
  7. Pass the State Final exam at FBE MENDELU.
