Financial support

Students receive scholarships during their doctoral studies. A list, description, and conditions of the individual types of scholarships can be found in the effective Dean’s Decree on the Faculty Notice Board. Doctoral students are expected to earn approximately CZK 40,000 net per month (basic scholarship, scholarship from an internal project, part-time position at the institute) plus additional scholarships for research results and income from participation in other grant activities.

The Faculty of Business and Economics finances doctoral students through scholarships, the basic amount of which is CZK 25,000 per month. In this way, the faculty rewards talented young scientists for their activity in the field of publication results, international activities, further improvement of their own knowledge and skills, and involvement in the activities of the faculty’s academic community. At the same time, the faculty wants to motivate all full-time doctoral students to engage in activities that exceed the basic study, publication, and other requirements placed on these students.

Other types of scholarships that doctoral students can receive include scholarships for research results, scholarships for research activities and special scholarships. For example, under the scholarship for creative achievements, a student can receive a one-time scholarship of up to CZK 30,000 for publishing an article in a journal with a non-zero impact factor.

Doctoral students have the opportunity to participate in internal, national, and international projects and receive scholarships or salaries from them. Students can also obtain employment at their workplace.
