The IPC International Office Team would like to inform you that the registration for Erasmus+ Global Week 2025 organised by the Polytechnic University of Coimbra is now open!
This week (from 19th to 23rd of May 2025) will be dedicated to the topic – Internationalisation at Home, and the agenda of the week will include:
- International Conference
- Seminars
- Cultural programme.
This programme aims to strengthen global networks and foster international cooperation, with a particular focus on how to integrate internationalisation within our home institutions. The event will provide a platform for discussing global challenges, sharing best practices, and exploring how higher education can contribute to addressing these issues, all within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme.
Coimbra, known as the “City of Knowledge,” is a prestigious academic hub, making it the ideal setting for this week-long event. It will offer opportunities for cross-cultural interaction, the exchange of ideas, and collaborative problem-solving among participants from diverse international backgrounds.
The main purpose of the Global Week is to widen and strengthen the cooperation with our partner institutions, to share different experiences on internationalisation, to facilitate networking and to establish new partnerships.
The programme will cover an international conference for all the participants, workshops for staff and an international fair and cultural activities. All the participants can attend the activities and the cultural programme will benefit from an intense networking among partners from European and non-European countries.
The fee is: 120€. Cultural and social activities costs are all included in the participation fee.
On the last day of our programme, you may decide to leave earlier or take part in a Seaside Cultural Activity to Mira Beach. This activity has an additional fee of 50€ (includes lunch and transportation) and will only take place with a minimum of 25 participants.
