Why study Informatics with us?

The Department of Informatics at the Faculty of Business and Economics, Mendel University in Brno connects informatics with economic and social disciplines, focusing on both research and the application of modern digital technologies. Research teams are engaged in the development of applications and information systems, artificial intelligence and natural language processing, data analytics and data visualization, augmented and virtual reality, network technologies, and the digital transformation of organizations.

We carry out our projects in collaboration with university partners, companies, and public institutions. Our research is systematically linked with practice through applied solutions, contract research, and by involving students in projects already during their studies.

We create an environment that fosters innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the development of digital competencies for both current and future practice.
